I was listening to a podcast the other day, and one of the guest, Brandon Easton (writer for the Thundercats reboot) lamented that a lot of young artists are too busy twiddling their thumbs drawing pinups and not doing enough sequential work (i.e. comics).

He's absolutely right!!

A while back I promised I'd start a sketch blog. Help chart my process and progress as an artist. Maybe this way I'll be able to churn out more content that may otherwise not make it on dA. Or start some kind of comic. Just saying.

New personal milestone! It's nowhere near my goal of 200k views, but it's a start right?

Sigh.

Got a lot on my mind now. Been inspired by some really great artists as of late from dA. Makes me wanna work HARDER!!!

I'll probably open a sketch blog real soon, just so I can dump all my daily sketch crap in one bin.
