Busy busy. At least I got this done a while ago. This, dear readers, is the fleet of the Armies of the Southern Cross. Let me clarify, these are a bunch of space ships and characters based on a show called Super Dimensional Cavalry: Southern Cross, later known as that the middle chapter in an 80's show called Robotech.

Let it be known this image is a riff of a well known promotional image of Macross.

Love the feel of this piece. A real sense of the breadth of the Southern Cross with the different designs doing their thing, the cool confidence of Marie comes through, and just a glance and you know whoever's going to be on the receiving end of this task force is in for a world of hurt!

Placing the alpha fighter in the foreground just like the logan jet and have some REF spacecraft in the background. Lol that's all I can suggest.

Hmm... I believe something similar was done in an old Sentinels cover - but I'll definitely look into it. I'm currently exploring a new "style" with my work so I might tailor it to that.
